Posted Hello all I am new to the CORSAIR and custom builds I currently am working on a 3 monitor setup My tower included the followingFor reference, I have a 5900x with 32gb 3600 cl 16 ram Going from 30 to 3600 with the same timing is gonna net you at most ~5% performance And also, careful buying the same ram kit as the one you already own Buying two kits of the "same" memory might not be compatible even though it's the same brand, frequency, and timing Differences in components used may cause 0 #3 Tradesman1 I'd look for 30 with a CL of 14 or 15, yes the 3600 is faster Most couldn't tell a difference though So a 30 MHz ram with CL34 latency should compare to a 3600 MHz ram with CL36 with marginal differences in performance or am I missunderstanding something?
